Awesome fish and great service.

We have been coming here since they initially opened and are now regulars.

Came in on a Saturday and the place was busy. Everyone was so nice & helpful as always. We tried something new this time, scallop poke. First time we have seen this offered. Never even came across it in Hawaii. It was great.

In total we ordered 3 poke bowls, the other two were traditional shoyu poke.

Everything was delicious and quantity was very generous. They are busy and for good reason.

Oh man. I was really pumped to hear that a new poke destination was opening up closer to me than the Wallingford convenience store. Yesterday, I finally got the chance to check out Seattle Fish Guys for lunch. It's conveniently located at 23rd and Jackson. The building has some dedicated parking spots for its retail outlets, so we didn't have to spend any time circling the streets. That just meant we could get our poke bowls faster! There were a couple of people in front us, but we were able to order our food within a few minutes of arriving.

You can get a poke bowl with either one or two kinds of seafood. Your choices are ahi, salmon, and tako. I got mine with ahi and tako, while my SO got his with double ahi (yeah, this is how you load up on your favorite kind of seafood!). We both opted for the squid salad as our side, but you can also get kimchi or seaweed salad instead.

We got our food to go since most of the tables were already occupied. As soon as we got home, those bowls disappeared in no time! The seafood is extremely high quality stuff that just melts in your mouth. The tuna was especially fresh, and was cut into perfectly sized chunks. The poke here is definitely comparable to the stuff you find in Hawaii. Fortunately, it's much easier to head on over to Seattle Fish Guys than it is to take yourself to Hawaii. Great addition to the CD!
